Chocolate Through the Ages
Chocolate is a delight that many enjoy in the world, from time to time and some more often than. Most people would eat more chocolate, but it is the mast, and said some health problems if eaten without causing restriction. It is a delicious mix is gratifying that the human race for centuries.
The Mayans and cocoa
It is believed that the Mayans and other indigenous people from South and Central America, the first to discover the cocoa beans were. CocoaBeans represent a measure of these ancient people in Mexico and you will see, there are images that represent the trade in this bean.
Columbus Finds Manna
It is believed that on his fourth voyage, Christopher Columbus discovered the cocoa bean. He is considered the first European to introduce this delicious blend of large populations across Europe. It is said that cocoa beans were used as a means of currency for the locals, that Christopher Columbus wasfocused on finding a way to India and was not interested in the cacao plant.

There are a couple of chocolates that are actually considered gourmet kitchen and there are others who are only average chocolate bar. Depending on your passion for chocolate, you get all famous producers of this delicious treat to know and are willing to in-kind to pay for some quality chocolate.

Yummy Chocolate Cakes - Kisses Cake and Ooh La-La Chocolate Fudge Cake
Can a person too many kisses? Absolutely not! Especially if they chocolate kisses in a cake. YUM! For all you chocoholics out there, this cake is for you. They think it is something funny going on here? Two of the ingredients in this cake are kisses and dates! Maybe you need this cake for your sweetie! Or how about Ooh La La Chocolate Fudge Cake? CHOCOLATE CANDY KISSES DATE CAKE
1 cup boiling water
1 cup dates, cut-up
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
40 chocolate candy kisses
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease a 10-inch tube pan; set aside.
Combine the boiling water, dates, and baking soda together; set aside and allow to cool.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Add the eggs and add into the mix. Flour and salt together, add alternately to the batter with the date mixture. Pour half the batter into the prepared tube pan. Sprinkle half the nuts and half of the chocolates. The rest of the dough and spread with remaining nuts and kisses. Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
OOH LA-LA Hot Fudge CAKE
1 1 / 4Cup granulated sugar, divided
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 / 2 cup cocoa, divided
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 / 4 teaspoon salt
1 / 2 cup milk
1 / 3 cup butter, melted
1 1 / 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 / 2 cup brown sugar
1 1 / 4 cups warm water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine 3 / 4 cup of granulated sugar, flour, 1 / 4 cup cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add the milk, butter and vanilla beating, until smooth. The mixture in aungreased 9-inch square baking pan. Combine the remaining granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa and more. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the butter mixture. Pour the hot water over the edge, but do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until center is almost set. Let stand, 15 minutes before serving. Spoon into dessert dishes that definitely got sauce from bottom of pan and pour over the top. Garnish with whipped cream or ice cream covered with mini-chocolate chips, ifis desired.

Diabetic's Mandarin Orange Cake
One of the biggest complaints we have with diabetes is about cake, that they are so dry. Baking without sugar is a challenge, things do not fry as well, with no sugar and they are too dry without sugar. I took a great recipe that I had, Mandarin Orange Cake and tweaked it until I came up with a diabetic version, which is moist and pleasing to the palate.
* The addition of Stevia, add some extra sweetness. Stevia is pretty expensive, but two packages is all you need. The addition ofMayonnaise adds moisture and texture. When you remove the cake from the oven and prick with a fork, generous with the picks. This sauce makes a wonderful run in the cake, thus increasing the humidity. Even my husband who hates anything without sugar, ate two or three pieces of this cake. My sixteen-year-old grandson loved it, too.
Diabetic mandarin orange CAKE
CAKE:
1 cup Splenda granular + 2 packets Stevia
1Cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 / 2 teaspoon salt, optional
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
11 oz can mandarin oranges
Topping:
1 / 4 cup + 2 tablespoons Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
2 1 / 2 to 3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons milk
To the cake: to drain and rinse with tap water to oranges, drained again. Put egg in a large bowl and break them with a fork. Add Splenda and mix well. Add stevia, flour, baking soda and salt, if desired. Mix all together to mix around. Mayonnaise and oranges. Beat on low Speed with an electric mixer for 3 minutes. Spray an 8x8-inch square pan with cooking spray Teflon. Pour batter into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from the oven. With a fork, puncture the top pouring on the cake. You refill hot water over the cake. Serve hot.
To the topping: Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil in a small pot lining. Pour immediately over the hot> Cake.
Note: Add 1 / 2 cup chopped pecans, the cake batter before baking, if desired.
* Stevia is a great sugar-free product. It is not easily accessible, but can usually find in health food stores and / or pharmacies.

Vampire Bat Chocolate Cake
Everyone loves chocolate cake; hand here is a delicious recipe for a Halloween cake, which looks like a bat. It is not hard to make, it starts as a simple Chocolate Victoria sandwich cake, but it is cleverly cut together and look like a bat.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons cocoa
3 tablespoons boiling water
225g/8oz soft margarine
225g/8oz sugar
4 eggs
225g/8oz self-raising flour
2 teaspoons bakingPowder
For the filling and coating:
Strawberry jam
50g/2oz soft margarine
175g/6oz icing sugar, sifted
1 tablespoon milk
A bar of chocolate cooking
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4th Grease and base line 20cm / 2x8in sandwich tins with greased parchment paper.
2. Blend the cocoa and water in a bowl, then give something cool. Trade fairs give you all the remaining ingredients into the bowl and beat well untilmix thoroughly. Divide the mixture evenly between the tins and level.
3. Bake in preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until well risen and the tops of the cakes spring back when lightly pressed with a finger. Left to prove in the tins for a few moments, then pull the paper cool and finish cooling on a wire rack.
4. To make the butter cream, mix the margarine, powdered sugar and milk smooth move. Hold one of the pieces of cake as a wholeform the basis. Apply a thin even layer of jam on the tart shell and add half the icing and spread this out over the top of the jam.
5. Take the second piece of sponge and cut it with a large round pastry cutter, a circle in the center of the sponge. Now cut two circles, one above and below the center hole. 6. Take two of the three circles, which were cut off when the wing. Glue the two circles together with jam and icing and put it into one of the shapes form a triangle formed by the wings of a bat's head. The final circle should be cut in half and stuck with icing sugar over the head of the bat on the ear shape. Bats have large ears, you know.
